

Tae Kwon Do/ HIT (High Intensity Training)
Taekwondo is a Korean martial art characterized by its emphasis on head-height kicks, jumping and spinning kicks, and fast kicking techniques. The World Taekwondo Federation sparring competitions award additional points for strikes that incorporate spinning- kicks, head-kicks, or both.
Organizations like
Kukkiwon define the general style of Taekwondo however, individual clubs and schools tend to tailor their Taekwondo practices.
Master Cheatham has extensive study in mixed martial arts therefore, he adds many techniques to the curriculum.
Forms, Sparring, and Breaking are a part of the regular curriculum while adding
- Power breaking
- Self-defense techniques
- Throwing and/or falling techniques
- Both anaerobic and aerobic workout & stretching
- Relaxation and meditation exercises, as well as breathing control
A focus on mental ethical discipline, etiquette, justice, respect, and self-confidence
- Examinations to progress to the next rank
- Development of personal success and leadership skills
TKD Classes are Monday & Wednesday's 6-7PM and Saturday's 11-1PM
